Daniel Baker

Daniel Baker is a Director at ECA Partners, where he leads talent searches across portfolio operations and senior operating roles.  He is a leader of ECA’s CEO practice and the ETA & Search Fund Practice.

Prior to joining ECA, Daniel taught graduate courses at Penn, Oxford, and UC Berkeley in economics, law, and policy analysis. He is a licensed attorney in Washington State, where he practiced law before pursuing advanced studies.

Daniel holds an economics degree from the University of Cambridge, a law degree from Duke University, and a Ph.D. in public policy from UC Berkeley. He is an avid golfer and chess player, who follows most American sports and reads extensively on the history of economics and philosophy.
