He helps manufacturers, energy, and resources companies recruit executives and project-based leaders – C-suite, operations, supply chain, and plant leadership – who drive efficiency, safety, and scalable growth. His work often bridges industrial and healthcare innovation, reflecting his cross-sector expertise. Before joining ECA, he was a research fellow at the National University of Singapore and UCLA. Gustav earned a PhD in Sociology & Philosophy from UCLA and was a Fulbright Scholar.

Robert (Robby) is a Senior Director at ECA Partners and leads the Industrials & Natural Resources Practice. He helps industrial and manufacturing companies recruit executives for growth and transformation – COO and plant leadership, operations, engineering, supply chain, and CTO/Transformation leaders – driving value creation across complex manufacturing and energy environments. Robby brings nearly a decade of executive search experience plus early consulting experience. He holds an MBA from the University of Notre Dame, an MA from George Washington University, and a BS from Georgetown University.

Kay is an Engagement Manager at ECA Partners specializing in executive search across Industrials, Manufacturing, and Healthcare-related sectors. She partners with PE and VC investors and operators to recruit leaders who drive efficiency, sustainability, and scalable growth in manufacturing, chemicals, and healthcare production environments. Her mandates span strategy, operations, and business development. Alongside her client work, Kay leads ECA’s marketing and branding initiatives. She earned her PhD in Religious and Gender Studies from Indiana University as a Fulbright and Mellon Fellow.
